A handwritten list (front of folded paper difficult to read) of the names of 25 Warwick men who joined in 1774 a company of Minute Men from N'fld (26 m2n). These men "marched to Cambridge upon the alarm of Lexington." The following men are on the list and they served from 23 days to 4 weeks 2 days or less. Lieut. Thomas Rich, Sergt. Joseph Mayo, Sergt. Abraham Barnes, Corp. Seth Peck, Corp. Henry Burnett, Daniel Whitney, John Whiting, Samuel Denny, William Pitcher, Jotham Merriam, Isaac Burnett, William Burnett, Asahel Newton, Simeon Stearns, Francis Leonard, Wilder Stevens, Jonathan Gale, Caleb Rich, Stephen Gould, Sam Griffiths, William Bradley.
On one quarter of paper is following note: "Also in Aug 17th the town voted to pay Asahel Newton to defray the expense of getting salt from Boston."
