One piece woman's dress in green silk with tan and beige filletted silk trim. Dropped waist with separate green silk belt at natural waist. Uneven hem. Long sleeves fastening at cuffs with small green silk covered buttons.

Woman's black two piece dress

Woman's two piece dress in black taffeta with black tatted lace decoration on bodice. Bodice is constructed with a front piece and a back piece with sleeves included. An underarm gusset allows more space in sleeve. Bodice has back closure with hooks and eyes. Bodice attaches to skirt with hooks and eyes. Skirt is constructed of 6 gores with 3 ruffles at base of hem and black velvet ruffled band above. Ankle length.

Woman's black bodice

Deconstructed bodice for a woman's dress. Same taffeta material and lace pattern as black lace dress in collection. Back of bodice black taffeta with boning. Front panels black taffeta with boning and lace gathers over. Base of bodice contains separate sewn in decoration of black jet beads and black sequins. Front closure with hook and eye.

Florence Steele Cook wedding dress

Grey taffeta 2 piece wedding dress with mother of pearl buttons and net and tatted lace cuff and neckline jabot decoration. Also has detached bustle. Notation with dress says: "Florence Steele Cook wedding dress. Millian Fred Cook first wife. Mother of Fred R. Cook and George Steele Cook. Property of George Steele Cook." The wedding was in 1874.
