Photograph of Judge Fayette Smith (1824 - 1903) of Cincinnati, OH and Greenfield, MA. Born in Warwick, the son of Reverend Preserved and Mrs. Smith (Tryphena Williams Goldsbury). Lived in house which is now Metcalf Memorial Chapel. Featured as "Dan" in "Jolly Good Times at Hackmatack" which was written by his wife, the late Mary P. Wells Smith of Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Butter maker or worker

Butter maker. When the butter comes from the churn it is in clumps, laced with milk. A small amount of butter would be handled with paddles and larger amounts were worked with this "gadget."

Cradle

Cradle made by Ezekiel Ellis about 1830 for his children. Mr. Ellis' house was later owned by Joseph Williams, Charles William, and Ludwig Nordstedt
