- Letter Dated May 30, 1865 "Dear Sister" from R.A.C. concerning wanting to be home for elections but is working in the vineyard to help pay board, having received a letter from Henry Witherell telling her of concert and ball, and asking her to be there, wonders if any of the Springfield folk will be up for the summer, talks of the help where she is working (three yankees, one man of color and two dutch women "who hoe and make fun for the rest. '
- Letter(dated Dec 22, 1868)"Dear Brother" from Henry concerning feed for cattle, the condition of their stock, not wanting to feed cow and hog - time to butcher, and money concerns on the homefront, weather concerns, grafting of cherry trees, etc.
- Letter (dated Oct 22, 1865) "Dear Brother" from R.A.C. concerning Juliaetta and her living so close to "Brother" that he does not need to write her unless Mr. Williams keeps him too busy, asking him to be careful at the sawmill, asks about his boarding plan, does he have any reading material (R.A.C. writes that she is in charge of library at her school), thinks family has "been smarter than usual" to get their harvesting all done before middle of October, R.A.C. had frost two weeks ago, asks about the schools in Warwick, wants to know if the chestnuts are all gone and is surprised at the good price chestnuts brought, were there enough apples to make cider.
- Letter to Charlie & Lydia (dated Mar 3, 1921) from Auntie (R.A.C.) concerning a local election between Mr. Joslyn and Mr. Lincoln
- Letter (dated 0ct 11, 1914) "Dear Sister" from Henry (and Elizabeth) concerning their travels (to Hardwick, West Brookfield), pages of the Cobb Diaries sent to Henry are received, he "placed the letter with the others where it belongs" etc.
