Newspaper clippings pasted into an account book. Dates of newpaper clippings between January 4 1875 and February 1885 and 1893 through 1912. Clippings pasted over handwritten accounts titled: "Account of Stock on hand by Jonas Robbins & Co. Dec.1, 1858"
Newspaper clippings from July 7 1900 to Dec 30 1912 Vol #3 compiled by Miss Clara Jones, Librarian.
The book was first the account book of the Boot and Shoe manufacturing co. owned by her father, Nahum Jones from about 1855 to 1890.
The clippings from 1913 on were collected by Mrs Eunice Mackie, New Salem historian and given to C.A. Morse who arranged them and added them to this volume.
