Author of a number of textbooks, some eight found in the Boston Public Library
Retired to Warwick when about sixty fixing over old cider mill on his father's farm for residence and developing an attractive home with a very productive apple orchard.
Died in 1890 at age 95.

The William Howard House

A photograph in frame and another framed description of the house (hung together)
William bought house known as Scott house during 1870s. He was son of Wm sr who was founder of the Congregational Church in 1829
They travelled extensively and donated a large collection of minerals and curiosities, some displayed in the case below.
