Morse, Jeduthan - genealogical materials

Eleven handwritten pages of Morse family history compiled by Charles Morse. Jeduthan Morse came to Warwick in 1760 and had a saw mill on Moores Pond. Enlisted in Capt. Alexander's N'fld Co. for the Canada expedition in 1776 and died of smallpox at Ticonderoga.

Hurlburt, Sec/Treas of the Morse Society; Letter to Ernest Morse from Nancy Hurlburt thanking Ernest for renewing membership; Letter dated July 13, 1972 to Charles Morse requesting information on the Morse family; Letter from Marlin Merrill dated Jan 7, 1986 to Greenfield Historical Society (forwarded to Charles Morse)requesting information on the Morse family - attached to request is thank you note to Charles Morse from Marlin Merrill; one page of Morse history from 1585 to 1954; three paper clippings of Morse Ancestors and/or New Englnad Family Coat-of-Arms; 4 pages of Grace Kendall Morse's genealogy

One page of Lyman family genealogy handwritten on Katharine T. Bass letterhead. Traces history from Richard (baptized October 30, 1580 in England) who came to America in 1631 to Nellie Tottingham who died in 1945 at the age of 86.
Picture dated 1915 of 8 individuals some identified (Mr. Edwin Lyman, Mr. Guilford, Mr. and Mrs. E. Lyman, and Mr. Brand (?), a middle-aged woman and two young girls unidentified.

William Lawrence - 3 pages of handwritten notes (Charles Morse)
William Lawrence moved to Warwick from Winchester, NH. He and his wife had a family of 10 children, one of which was William Henry Lawrence, first Warwick man to enlist in the Civil War and first Warwick man to be killed. He was killed in the battle of Battle of Bull Run on July 21, 1861.
