White silk square shawl, 36"x36" excluding fringe, embroidered all over in white two ply silk thread in a floral motif. Separately applied fringe is two ply silk thread. Note with shawl says: "This shawl belonged to Miss Rhoda Ann Cook of Warwick Mass. Date about 1840."
