Two pages of typewritten notes (most noted as coming from Cobb's Diary) tracing Joseph Pond (1773 to 1839 or 1841) who married Joanna Pomeroy (daughter of Joseph & Anna Pomeroy). In Jan 1804 Joseph and Joanna left Warwick for Boston, but in Jan 1805 Joseph set sail for Denemora leaving Joanna to find her own shelter. In Feb 1805 Joseph would return to Boston if his creditors would permit it. We don't hear about Joseph again until 1829 when he again returns to Boston. "Where was he all this time?" The Boston Directory lists Joanna Pond as a nurse in 1837 & 1839. In 1847 Joanna was residing with her daughter Mary Cheever in Boston.
Harriet Pond (born 1795), daughter of Joseph & Joanna, married Ebenezer Rich in 1820 and lived near the Atwood Cemetery. She married her second husband, Reuben Rich, brother of her first husband. She died in Richmond, NH (date not listed) and is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Winchester, NH.
George (born June 1809 - looks like Joseph must have been in Boston until Sept 1808?) was a doctor & settled in Illinois.
