Newspaper clippings from July 7 1900 to Dec 30 1912 Vol #3 compiled by Miss Clara Jones, Librarian.
The book was first the account book of the Boot and Shoe manufacturing co. owned by her father, Nahum Jones from about 1855 to 1890.
The clippings from 1913 on were collected by Mrs Eunice Mackie, New Salem historian and given to C.A. Morse who arranged them and added them to this volume.
Poem "The Stag's Head" written by Guy Carey, Jr. The poem was written after author heard a bar room argument about the deer head, hanging behind the bar at the Warwick Inn, and the pros and cons of deer hunting.
