Grandaughter". Patchwork is primarily silk material; center motif shows a printed fabric with American and Cuban flags.

Handwoven silk weft faced cloth with added fringe (11 1/4" x 120" excluding fringe). Aniline dyed in red, blue and yellow. Possibly South American woven on a back strap loom. 19th Century or early 20th Century

White silk shawl, 50"x50" excluding fringe, embroidered all over with pink floral motif. Machine stitched hem with added 14" fringe of silk. After 1850.
