Black woman's hat, hand stitched

Deconstructed bodice for a woman's dress. Same taffeta material and lace pattern as black lace dress in collection. Back of bodice black taffeta with boning. Front panels black taffeta with boning and lace gathers over. Base of bodice contains separate sewn in decoration of black jet beads and black sequins. Front closure with hook and eye.

Woman's one piece dress; both bodice and skirt made of black taffeta with black lace over. Machine stitched. Long fitted sleeves gathered at shoulders. Ankle length, no train. Closed in front of bodice with snaps.

Grey taffeta 2 piece wedding dress with mother of pearl buttons and net and tatted lace cuff and neckline jabot decoration. Also has detached bustle. Notation with dress says: "Florence Steele Cook wedding dress. Millian Fred Cook first wife. Mother of Fred R. Cook and George Steele Cook. Property of George Steele Cook." The wedding was in 1874.

2 white lawn Edwardian blouses with lace, hemstitching tatting and embroidery details.

White cotton apron smock with button closure in back and tie. Red embroidered cross pinned to bodice. Machine stitched.

White cotton nightgown with fine pleats, white on white embroidery and side gussets. Finished seams throughout. Ankle length. Shell button closures.

Turn of the century house dress in cotton with cotton printed decoration. Button closure. Dress has been let out in bodice with a salt sacking material for filling. Pattern on salt sacking reads "Watkins Brand table salt; Watkins Glen, N.Y."

Woman's one-piece undergarment of net and cotton. Hook and eye closures.

Woman's dress of gauze and fine net with crocheted and tatted trimming and insets. Shell and crocheted buttons. Possibly a wedding dress.
